We all answer to one maker.

    Hi,

While reading below, I coudln't fully understand the last sentence.

[But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another – remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.]

We all answer to one maker.

Does it say "we all should conform to one maker?" Even so, I don't still undertand how this sentence is related to the previous one.

Is there any other meaning on 'answer'?

Thanks for your help in advance.

    James

Re: We all answer to one maker.

"One maker" there refers to God. It means that we are all sinners and God will pass judgment on all of us.
