    Can "may" as a modal be used in the

    Hi,

    Can "may" as a modal be used in the interrogative sentences?

    May it rain?
    May he come?

    The second one is OK. It means "Is he allowed to come/Is it permitted that he come?".
    The first one doesn't work, for obvious reasons.

    If you want to ask about the possibility of rain, you would use "Might it rain?"
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
