    run

A: I'm Linda Court. I have an appointment for a haircut with Sean.
B: Hello, Ms. Court. Sean's running a little late. Do you mind waiting?

Is there a synonym I could think of here?
I think 'operate', 'do', 'serve' or 'organize' answer, am I right?
    Thanks,

    Re: run

None of your suggested alternatives work. 'Running late' is just about perfect for saying somebody is behind schedule.

We really don't know if there's a synonym you could think of?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
