    "He killed himself after injuring her". "Why did he injure her". Are these correct?

    Yes, they are.
    But I would have expected him to kill her first, then take his own life.

    They are both grammatically correct sentences.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
