    not worthy

    Which are correct:

    1) He is not worthy of being insulted.

    2) He is not worthy of insulting.

    3) He is not worthy of being insulted by you.
    4) He is not worthy of insulting by you.

    I think '1' and '3' work. I think '2' is acceptable. '4' sounds wrong to me.

    They are all strange for me. Normally, I would expect "He is not worth insulting".
