    My colleague missed an appointment and failed to do her job on time. Our boss asked

    My colleague missed an appointment and failed to do her job on time. Our boss asked her to come in his office and said this to her:

    I thought you had more responsibility than this/that. What happened?

    Are both okay?

    "I thought you had more responsibility than this/that."
    That doesn't work for me. I prefer "I thought you were more responsible than that."
