While reading an article, I got confused abou this sentence below.
[Looking up, the youth searched for a glimpse of the finish line. "It's somewhere up there".]
What does it mean? Is a glimpse in this sentence 'a kind of light'?
Af first thought, I thought the youth tried go get a glimpse of the finish line.
On second thought, however, I wondered if it should read differently.
Thanks for your help in advance.
