    Re: starting learning

    No.
I started to learn a new language.
I am starting to learn a new language.
I have started to learn a new language.
I started learning a new language.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: starting learning

Don't take "no two -ings together" as a rule, tufguy. For example, "I am going swimming" is a perfectly acceptable sentence, as is "I'm starting swimming classes next week".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: starting learning

Is it correct to say 'Saying swimming is healthy exercise is plausible'?

    Not a teacher.
