How can a question be correct without a question mark at the end?

Re: How did you liie it

    Nearly right.
You put the question inside quote marks, so the question mark should also be inside.
    "How did you like it?"

This is how you might use it.
    a) We went to that new Italian restaurant last night.
    b) How did you like it?
    a) It was great. The food was delicious.

Re: How did you liie it

If somebody is having a meal at the present moment and we want to know. What is his opinion regarding the food. "How do you like it". Is this what we have to say?

See above. It's not what we have to say, but it is something we can say.

Re: How did you liie it

Ok, so we can say "How do you like it". If somebody is having a meal or taking a ride in a swing and we immediatley want to know that person's opinion. If that person has already done something and we want to know about his opinion then we can say "How did you like it".

I am closing this thread. I am far too tired of telling you to put a question mark at the end of questions.
