    nope/nopes

    Is there any difference between Nope/Nopes.


    I understand Nope means "no". So there should not be any difference between both. Why we use sometimes nopes?

    I never use 'nopes'.

    It's probably a recent teenage slang invention.

    I've never heard "nopes" either. It's always "nope" in my circles (BrE).
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
