    past or present perfect?

I am not sure if I should use "past" or "present perfect" tense in this sentence? Can I use either of them. Thank you.

    Re: past or present perfect?

Both are OK for me, but I prefer the first.

    Not a teacher.

You can use both of them.

You can also say "As set out in our letter of [date], we agree to provide you with ..."
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
