Idiom that express a crazy relationship

Hello,
I am really interested, if in English language exists an idiom to express that we care about someone but he or she is annoying very often(he or she still does things that make us angry, for example she or he provokes us:-D) and sometimes we would rather kill her/him:-D. You know, "a little bit" crazy relationship full of arguments, bad language, ... :-D
