Late wake up due to dream

I woke up one hour late today as my dream ends at 6.30am. Is it correct?

No, and I'm not sure what to make of that.

Are you able to control the time that your dream ends?

Don't you use an alarm clock?

Re: Late wake up due to dream

I forgot to set an alarm clock last night which caused my dreams to extend until 6.30am.

Re: Late wake up due to dream

Are you telling us that you only stop dreaming when your alarm clock goes off? That's very unlikely. We only dream during REM sleep and we dream for around two hours per night. If you happen to be in REM sleep when your alarm goes off, it would interrupt a dream but it's very unlikely that that would be the case every night.

The gist from your post is that you normally set your alarm for 5.30am but today you didn't wake up until 6.30am because you forgot to set your alarm last night. Your dreams have nothing to do with it.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I agree- in the UK, trying to blame your dream would not work as an excuse. You could say that you overslept, but leave dreams out of it IMO.
