Dear friends,

Below there is a sentence from my technical paper on digital signal processing:

"Each signal has the total length of 1000 samples in order to use the classifier in the mode close to real time".

To tell the truth, I find the construction "in the mode close to real time" a little bit bulky and I think the sentence can be paraphrased. What do you think?

What about ".... classifier in the close-to-real-time mode"?
