    Although (it was) small

    Hi,

    - Although small, the sitting room was quite nice to me.

I would like to ask if I should say 'Although it was small' or it is OK to say only 'Although small'.

    Thank you.

    You can use either version.

    Re: Although (it was) small

    "to me" is unnecessary.

Although small, the sitting room was quite nice.

If you want to make it clear it's your opinion, say "I thought the sitting room was quite nice, even though it was small" or "I think the sitting room is quite nice, even though it is small".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
