    "All politics is local" - Singular or Plural verb?

    While I was reading vocabulary builder, I came across the sentence "All politics is local".

    Is above verb usage right?.

    Yes, "politics" is construed as singular.

    Some authorities feel that the word "politics" is singular when it refers to "a branch of study" and plural when it refers to "someone's set of beliefs."

    "Politics stinks, " said Sonny.
    "Sonny's politics stink," said Gopher.

    Thus, some people would feel more comfortable saying, "Your politics are none of my business."
