Re: If some one says "sorry for being sick today"

    ***** NOT A TEACHER *****

James (on the telephone): I'm very sorry, Ma'am, but I'm too sick to come in today.

Ms. Smith (the manager): No problem! I want you to stay home until you feel better. Don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you.

P.S. A good manager, of course, does not want sick employees in the office, where s/he may infect others.

Re: If some one says "sorry for being sick today"

The OP wrote 'being sick' but not 'being absent'. Is it possible for a sick person to say 'Sorry for being sick and the low efficiency today'?

    That would not be common.

Someone might use being sick as an excuse for poor performance at work but it would be worded differently. They would apologise for their lack of efficiency rather than for being sick.

"I'm sorry I didn't get much done today. I feel terrible. I think I might have flu."
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
