    Why katamine...?

    Newspaper: Evening Starndard
Article: There are worse Places Than the 'Squeeed Middle'

"Because the cost of living is accelerating like a Bugatti Veyron with a hedge-fund manager stamping on the accelerator as he snorts ketamine off a Ukrainian glamazon's bum-cleft."

I am not getting it. I understand why the cost of living has been compared to the accelerating BV (the fastest car in the world), it's quite obvious why hedge-fund manager is behind the steering wheel. But the second part of the sentence makes little sense to me. "Snorts ketamine off"... ketamine is a drug used for anesthesia.

    Ketamine is frequently abused/misused. http://www.drugfreeworld.org/drugfac.../ketamine.html
