Using "Pass by" in a sentence.

Hi,
I have constructed some sentences with the word "Pass by" .Could you please let me know whether the following sentences are okay or not.

1) Three buses passed by me, but no one stopped.
2) I have passed by this corridor mant times since morning.
3) The U.K nationals donot have to pass by the immigration officers at any airport.
4) I used to pass by this security officer before entering the building.
5) Unauthorised people cannot even pass by the building.

'Pass by' is not a word — it's a phrase.

My purpose was to know if I was using "Pass by" correctly.Yes you are right it is a phrase..But do the sentences make sense??

I have walked down/through this corridor many times since this morning.
3) The U.K nationals donot have to pass by the immigration officers at any airport.
UK nationals do not have to show their passports to immigration officers at airports.
4) I used to pass by this security officer before entering the building.
I used to walk past this security officer before entering the building.
5) Unauthorised people cannot even pass by the building.
Unauthorised people cannot even walk past the building.

I don't find "pass by" to be natural in any of the contexts you used. Above, in red, I have given what I consider to be the natural versions.
