Do you Own or Rent?--what does it mean?

Do you own or rent? This question appears when I apply for the Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card from Chase, what does it mean?
    Thanks!

Do you own or rent what?
If it is a property, the question is asking whether you are the owner or you rent it from someone else.

Re: Do you Own or Rent?--what does it mean?

Where do you live? Is it a place like a house that you own? Or is it an apartment building where you rent a unit?

This is a pretty basic question to answer.

Re: Do you Own or Rent?--what does it mean?

It's a fairly standard question in forms where your credit rating is being evaluated and in survey questions.

    Do you rent your home?
    Do you own your home?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
