Can I say: she hurts me so much, I want to kill myself.
Is it possible?
How do I classify that sentence, please?
As there is no conjunction (I think that that would work), would it be classified a compound sentence?
Do you mean 'She hurts me so much that I want to kill myself'?
I think 'that' can be replaced with a semicolon.
Not a teacher.
Yes. A compound sentence is made up of two or more simple sentences joined by coordinating conjunctions. A semicolon can replace a conjunction, it didn't mention in the first place; therefore, I got confused whether to classify such a sentence a compound or not. Thank you.
