    be afraid of the cold

    1. I am afraid of the cold.
    2. I feel the cold easily.
    3. The cold bothers me.
    4. The cold weather bothers me.
    5. I hate the cold weather.

To me, the above sentences are roughly similar in meaning. Please point out incorrect sentences for me.
I doubt whether sentence #1 is correct, because it is a word-for-word translation from Chinese into English. Thank you very much.

Re: be afraid of the cold

#1 could be correct. If the cold bothers you, you could be afraid of cold snaps (opposite of a heat wave).

Re: be afraid of the cold

To me they are all grammatical, but # 2 is unnatural as no one would be likely think it or to say it with the words "feel ...easily". Maybe you feel the cold intensely?
