    Business plan is an important instrument for business, but many people have misconception on that.

    Business plan is an important instrument for business. Yet, many people have misconception on that.

    Which of the above sentences is more appropriate and more natural to native speakers? I often mess up "but" and "yet" in context. Can they be used interchangeably?
