What invention would I like to have done

"Which inventIon would you most like to have invented?". Does it mean that I couldn't do it?. Am I now being asked that what invention would I have done, if I had been a scientist?".

Re: What invention would I like to have done

    Question:

What would you most like to have invented?

That talks about something that has already been invented that you would like to have the credit for. And, no, you can't invent something that has already been invented.

Re: What invention would I like to have done

It's ambiguous. The two meanings are:
"What invention would you most like to have been the inventor of?" and
"What invention would you most like to have invented for you?"

It is a possibility that you could have something invented for you. (It would probably depend on how much money you are capable of spending.)

Remember that we use a single punctuation mark to end a sentence so you should not have a question mark and a full stop at the end (even if there are closing quotation marks between them).
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

You are absolutely right. (I have edited that.)

My fingers don't always do what my brain tells them to do.
