    death is avenged/ just man

    Hi guys

I can't understand the meaning of this sentence:

"The great plague in the maritime city will not stop until death is avenged by the blood of a just man."

I heard it in a series and it's something about revelation.

If someone can help me, I'll appreciate. Thanks.

It seems to be saying that until a just man dies the plague will not stop.

    Is that from a novel?
