    Yes, but capitalize "Valentine's Day".

    Wouldn't you say, "Is a kiss too much to ask for?" Of course, I don't know what context you're using this in.

    If the refusal were in the past, the past tense would be fine.

    Batman45, again, please don't make your thread titles so long and involved. The phrase you were querying is "Was a kiss too much to ask for?" That should have been the title.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
