Family is the greatest treasure that I have (had)

    Hi,

    - Family is the greatest treasure that I have (had).

I cannot decide whether or not to put 'had' after 'have' in that sentence becuase we have a family since we are born. I feel confused.

    Thanks.

If you still have a family and if it is still your greatest treasure, don't use "had".
