This is the first contract ever for the company to mount ......

    Hello everybody!

Suppose that a company has signed a contract to mount devices of a certain type.

This company will be mounting such a device for the first time.

    How could I express this?

This is the first contract ever for the company to mount devices of a certain type.

    or

This is the first time (ever) the company has mounted devices of a certain type.

    Thank you.

You can use either one. (You don't need "ever" there, but use it if you want to.)

"ever" might be useful because I would like to emphasise the fact that such a thing has never been done in the whole history of the company.

I wouldn't tell them it was my first time doing it until after I did it.
