Question Noun adjunct, direct address, retained object

    Hi there,

I changed my major course, and now I study English translation at the university. I have problems about nouns because I've to study myself.

    My questions:
1- How can I find the retained object?
2- Please explain the noun adjunct.
3- Is direct obj. just for imperative sentence?

    Thanks a lot.

    Welcome to the forum.

I think you have misunderstood the point of this forum. We are not here to replace textbooks, grammar books, online resources and your own hard work. We answer specific questions.

Take some time to look around at the kind of questions currently being asked and answered.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Thanks for answering.

I think you can help me. But...
Well, could you recommend a book that can help me?
I have Modern English, but it doesn't explain well.
