    Greetings

    Hi,

Can anyone please correct me on this, please:

    Several types of frogs, or

    Several types of frog

Which one of these is correct?

    Thank you in advance.

    Re: Greetings

    Welcome to the forum.

Context can sometimes change the answer to a question. We always ask that you give us complete sentences to look at.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: Greetings

    Thank you for your reply.

The question appeared on my IELTS listening test, and I had to fill in the blanks. I can't remember the whole sentence completely but it was something with the description on several type of frog/frogs.
I wrote frogs because several types mean there are a number of different types of frogs.

Can you please explain further? As I'm afraid to repeat the same mistake, which I'm not sure if I did it right or wrong.

    Thank you very much.
