Indirect narration of :-"I am going away tomorrow, mother", he said.

    This is not my homework.

What will be the indirect narration of following sentence?
:-"I am going away tomorrow, mother", he said.

1:-He said to/told his mother that he was going away the next day.

2:-He said to/told his mother that he will be going the next day.

3:-He said to/told his mother that he would be going away the next day.

    Thank you in advance.
