Hello. I'm translating a song into my native langauge, but i'm having some problems with english slang - I dont get the meaning of some phrases:

1. I remember looking back
Conversing to start a cap

2. The hope and the have-nots

3. I'm gonna see concrete

4. Faultiest at switching lanes

I would be grateful if someone can explain me the meaning of these phrases.

Greetings!

If I encounter a slang phrase I am unfamiliar with context can help me figure out the meaning. However, you didn't provide any context for the slang phrases you asked about, so (due to lack of familiarity) I can't tell you anything.

I figured out the first phrase.

Now i need help with the rest. (look down)

2&3. Gravity can't stop
The hope and the have-nots
This artery's a part of me
And bloods is all I’m gonna be
I'm gonna see concrete
Bottles and bad dreams
I'm everything and anything
A memory that never leaves

4.
I remember looking back
Conversing to start a cap
Now i'm sitting whishing that
Wishing that i just go back
I was happy with no fame
Faultiest at switching lanes
Buying 40’s with some change
The sourthern california days

Thanks for any help. :)

What's the song? These are not standard slang phrases that I know.

I think I know what does 'concrete' mean, but I also need to figure out 'faultiest'.

From what i know, 'concrete' means the most comfortable place to sleep for a drunk person (Google told me that :))

The Bloods is a street gang. The person slept on concrete because he was so drunk he didn't care. (The person who wrote that song might have been drunk at the time he wrote it.)
