    Which one to use in this sentence.

    I awake or wake up at 4 AM today.

    1- I woke up at 4 am today.
    or
    2- I was awake at 4 am today.
    However, the second sentence just means that I was not asleep at 4 am. It doesn't say what time I woke up.

    They are both correct. There is no difference in meanng.
