A told B that he lost his book and he advised him to look for it in his desk.
In the above sentence A lost the book. But it looks like A is asking B to look for it.
It should have been like B is advising A where to look for it.
I corrected the sentence to:
When A lost his book, he told B, who advised him to look for it in his desk.
Is the corrected sentence okay?
star, please note that a better title would have been A told B that he lost his book.
