I am not sure what you are trying to say. Where was the key?
Student or Learner
is it okay to say...he found the key just at the door?
is it necessary to use under or prepositions like that?
thank you for the help...
How about "in the door"?
I'm sorry Rover_KE......I was typing in a hurry....anyway...i had an exam and 'he found the key ___ the door was the question.....
I wanted to know the possible answers.
It is not clear what it is you are trying to say. Was he looking for the key all over the place and it was still in the door? Was he looking for the key in his pocket or bag as he was walking towards the door and then found it in his bag?
I am not a teacher.
The key could have been behind/near/nowhere near/stuck to/broken off in the lock of the door, and so. The answer could be anything.
