    pray to God

My back is aching a lot. "So pray to God that the problem is not severe" or "that there should not be a severe problem". Please check.

    Re: pray to God

Why so alone? Something like So I pray that the problem doesn't become serious would work for me- I don't see the need for to God as that's who people pray to, though I am not a believer.

    Re: pray to God

If you're a Catholic, you get to pray to Mary, and any number of saints. Depending on your belief system, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to pray to whomever or whatever you want. I don't think "to God" is redundant. Actually, I think it's idiomatic: "Pray to God it won't get any worse."

    Re: pray to God

You can say both "Pray to God the problem is not severe" and "Pray to God that there should not be a serious problem". I find the first much more natural.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
