    An apology

    Dear Tdol:

I was shocked and mortified today when I learned that I was responsible for an "untidy" thread.

I deeply apologize and hereby suspend myself until May.

    Re: An apology

James, we are all, at times, responsible for untidy threads. Your self-punishment is too harsh.

    Re: An apology

    James,

If it is the thread that I tidied up yesterday, it had nothing to do with you; I tidied up something to restrict it to language where the OP had gone a bit further and wanted some information removed. Please lift your ban and don't apologise- you had nothing to do with what was tidied up. I hope to see you back well before May.

    All the best,

    Richard

    Re: An apology

    James,

I have checked the thread and I did delete something you had posted, but that was only because it was in response to what I was clearing up. Please accept my apologies- you were blameless in this. I was just trying to clear it out for a discussion on island nations and not clients' preferences.

    Re: An apology

I agree with MNY. You couldn't possibly have done anything to merit suspending yourself.
