    There's nothing wrong with the original caption, in my opinion.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    You could make a case that since "history" doesn't start a new sentence, it shouldn't be capitalised. As a caption, though, it doesn't have to follow normal rules.
