    A question about "few"

I faced with two examples of using "few" word. The first one is:
    - I have a few things to do.
    And the second one is:
    - There were few peoples in town today.
Why an article is used in the first sentense and it doesn't appear in the second one? Both sentenses are from blue Murphy.

    Re: Raymott

Note that your second example should be "There were few people in town today" (not "peoples"). Also, your question construction is incorrect. It should be "Why is an article used ...?" (not "Why an article is used ...?").
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
