    B:I'm sorry, but i believe he just stepped out of the office.
    A:would you like to leave a message?
    B:That's okay I'll just call back in a little while.

    See above. The words are OK but if you are transcribing it, you need to use correct capitalisation.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Your second "A" line should be a "B" and your second "B" line should be an "A."
