anyone - how to use it

    hi ,

Please see the sentence below. Did I use the "anyone" in a right way?

" check the points in the document and let me know if anyone is missing"

No, it's not correct. Use "anything". As you should know by now, it is not a sentence without the capital letter at the beginning and the full stop at the end.

Usually the word 'anyone' is used to address people. Your sentence should use 'anything'.

    Correct Examples:

    "Is anyone hurt?"

    "I can't see anyone."

If you mean any one of the points, then you need to use "any one." Two words, not one.

    But, "anything" is better.

Do the points list names of people? If not, it is definitely wrong.
