no more at the beginning (inversion)

    Hi,

    - No more do I smoke.

I googled it but could not find any answers. I would like to ask if I can use 'no more' at the beginning of a sentence?

    Thanks.

Re: no more at the beginning (inversion)

"No more" can be used at the beginning of a sentence, but your sentence is unnatural. Try "I don't smoke anymore."

I was wondering if 'I smoke no more.' would be natural.

    Only slightly more natural.

    Use Mike's version.
