    "I would appreciate it if..."

    Where transportation thrives from...
    The history of transportation...

    Re: root of transportation

Are you sure it is not "route" of transportation?

    Re: root of transportation

Note that TechnistWarp's "Where transportation thrives from" is not grammatical and I have no idea what it is supposed to mean.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: root of transportation

I'll put it this way: How transportation gets nourishment from, where it grows and improves.

But it's okay to waive my 'Where transportation thrives from' aside since I'm more confident in 'the history of transportation'.

    That's not grammatical either.

Technist Warp, I've asked you before to refrain from jumping in after five minutes with ill-considered replies before teachers or native speakers have had an opportunity to respond.

This puts us to the trouble of correcting your mistakes before addressing the original post.

People have been put in moderation for this.

It means nothing in isolation, ania. Please quote the complete sentence in which you found the phrase, and state the source.

    Re: root of transportation

I'd say the root of transportation is 'port'. But the context might be wrong.

    Re: root of transportation

    Dear Teachers,
I have recently been looking for some information on the letter of order on the Internet and I have found the following description:

Following factors should be considered in drafting an order letter.
    1. Detailed description of the goods.
    2. Mention the delivery time.
    3. Provide specifications of the goods regarding size, color, style, quality etc.
    4. Shipment forwarding directions i.e. the root of the transportation.
    5. Mode of payment.
    6. Mention about the discount factor.
    7. Formal request for timely delivery.

Thank you everyone for your efforts.
