    at/in Queen's Restaurant

I had dinner with my friends at/in Queen's Restaurant last night.

Are 'at' and 'in' both correct in the above sentence

"At the restaurant" though "in" is not wrong.

    Re: at/in Queen's Restaurant

    A: Where are you now?
B: I'm having dinner with my friends at/in Queen's Restaurant.

Are 'at' and 'in' both correct in the above sentence? Which one is more common?

    Thanks Matthew

Do you mean that there is no difference between "at/in the restaurant' in most cases?

    Re: at/in Queen's Restaurant

If you dined at an open-air table, you would be 'at' but not 'in' the restaurant.

In most cases, there is no difference for me. I am at Clancy's. I am in Clancy's.
