I want home sick from work

I went home sick from work. Is "sick" adj or adv?
It should be adj since "sick" is supposed to depict the subject's status.
    Is that right?

    Thank you

Re: I want home sick from work

    Yes, it's an adjective.

    I am sick.
    I am ill.

I went home sick from work = I went home from work because I was sick

Note that you made a typo in your title. "Went" is right. "Want" is wrong.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
