Bloody rascals - Is it an abusive language?

"Misbah to Australia after getting beaten up.... Misbah (Pakistan cricket captain )
Bloody rascals I will call my papa ( Father) now... Here father means Indian cricket team
He will see you on 26th March 2015"

One of my friends posted above text on Facebook. One of his friends replied, "mind your language, perhaps, you have high BP".

Is the underlined word an abusive language? When I searched through a dictionay, I found : A mischievous or cheeky person, especially a child or man (typically used in an affectionate way)

I don't consider it particularly abusive. I have used worse to describe the Boston Red Sox.
