    will/going to

    Hello,

I am writing a sentence about the reasons of my writing an article. Do I say: "The article will focus on..." or "The article is going to focus on..."?

    Thank you

    Re: will/going to

You can use either although I would probably go with "This article focuses on ...". The present tense is fine in this situation.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: will/going to

I am never sure in these cases. Usually the English grammar books have it that when there is intention we should use "going to", though "will" comes more naturally to me in that example.

    What does that sentence mean?

    Re: will/going to

There was a mistake in the sentence, instead of sure I wrote "use". I edited the post. It should make sense now.
