Is it possible to use continuous infinitive in this sentence?
I might be having friends round for tea this afternoon.
The sentence is grammatically correct, but shouldn't you have some sort of idea of whether you're having friends for tea this afternoon?
Where's the continuous infinitive?
Isn't "might be having" just the modal equivalent of "am having" (present continuous)?
I might be having some friends round = It's possible that I am having some friends round
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
