I was looking at TEFL courses in Spain, I would want to move there eventually.
I did find one called TtMadrid which I hear good things about. http://www.englishforum.com/cgi-bin/...1&ID=*&uid=pub
Can anyone weigh in on this?! Greatly appreciated!
Have you heard about the CELTA course?? It's highly recognised around Europe and South America (you probably won't need it if you want to teach in Asia). Many schools offer in Spain.
To be honest, the course costs €1375, while International House is offering the CELTA, the most recognised basic ESL course, for €1,610. I would go for the CELTA- it is recognised worldwide and opens the most doors and doesn't cost that much more. There may also be cheaper CELTA courses in Madrid- I just opened the first one on the list to get an idea.
I talked to some people in Madrid, and a lot of them did the Tt course. They were all super happy with it and got jobs instantly, which is what I'm going for.
The cost is the issue, so I'd rather pay less that International House, and have a guaranteed job.
