'Strictly forbidden' and 'strictly prohibited' are widely used.
I can't explain why, but 'strictly banned' somehow doesn't sound right to me.
Student or Learner
I want to use 'ban' or 'forbid' instead of the 'prohibit' in the following sentence. Is that correct?!
In my school, any fooling around and mockery in the class are strictly banned/forbidden.
The pupils also are not allowed to wear make-up, nail polish or even grow their nails long. They all are strictly prohibited in schools.

I prefer prohibited.
